Asian Football Gaming Championship
If you’re a FIFA enthusiast and you weren’t aware of the Asian Football Gaming Cup, then you have missed out big time. Asian Football Gaming Championship or AFGC is a FIFA tournament which will be held in Thailand. They have partnered up with LudusPro to host the Indian qualifiers. A total of 8 qualifiers, 6 of which were online and 2 offline. Both the offline qualifiers were held in LXG Bangalore. One on the 13th August and the other on the 27th August.
A total of 16 and 12 players, respectively, took part in the event. The players battled it out in a 1v1 on the PS4 console. Syed Faraaz won the first qualifier and Sean John won the second. They will be going to Kolkata where the National Finals will be held on the 3rd of September. They will be joined with 6 other qualified players and 8 invited players. The winner of the National Finals will be representing India in the Asian Football Gaming Championship.
