ILG Season 3 Update: DOTA 2 Regional Qualifiers

The Indian LAN Gaming Cup has been underway for well over 15 weeks now, offering us an opportunity to look into the teams that have qualified into the regionals for DOTA 2. This year, we saw a lot of truly pro-level plays by new players in the scene, making the ILG cup a treat to watch.

Even as the minors had a behemoth total prize pool, the regionals hold bigger promises of fame and fortune for these teams. You too can be a part of the action that is the ILG cup. More than half of the season is over, so your time to get started on your esports journey is running out quick. 

Gather your team, register for upcoming events on the ILG site, and stand a chance to win a part of the 1.6 crore prize pool! With events happening at 30 gaming arenas all across the country, there’s no excuse for you to skip out on your esports journey. Without further ado, let’s get into the teams that have secured their place in the regionals.

From Hyderabad, Team Wipeout and Team Random qualified into the regionals. Chennai saw teams b2+4, Osho No 1, Village Vignyanis, and Knight Hawaks move onto the next round of the ILG cup. From Pune, Team Momo and Global Esports qualified, cementing their place in the road to glory.

Kolkata saw teams Straw Hat Crew, Surprise Gaming, Disband, and Mango move to the next series of matches. Bangalore featured teams Pyarasite+4, GoFigure, sekkusu kimochi na, and TMG as they ensured their place in the regional qualifiers. Team Nefarious and Tranquility dominated the Delhi minors, while Team Omega Tryhard secured their place through the Jaipur minors.

Cuttack saw Team No More and the Arc Warden Boiz move to the next round, while Team Aqueous and UnderDogs qualified from Ahmedabad. Kanglei E-sports, Thapa5, and Den Dwellers dominated the Guwahati ILG minors, granting them a place in the regionals. Cosmic Interpol qualified from Deheradun, while Quasar Gaming progressed from Bhopal.

Jalandhar saw Bathinda Boys and Team Addictive Gaming move to the next series of matches, while Gamers on Dope and Team Azeroth qualified from Bhubaneswar. Team Demolition Crew and Team Aces made their way into the regionals from Lucknow.

A range of teams qualified for the regionals twice, or even thrice. Team Secret were eligible for the regionals 4 times over, as they qualified from Pune, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Indore. Mani+4 qualified twice from Pune, while Team Vibe qualified from Guwahati, Kolkata (twice), and Deheradun.

Other teams that qualified more than once include Team Domin8, progressing from both the Indore and Bhopal minors, and Team ROG Titans, who qualified from Pune and Mumbai.
