Regional Qualifiers Are Coming To LXG, Bengaluru: Here’s How You Can Catch The Action!

It’s that much awaited time of the year – The ILG Cup Season 3 Regionals! The event will be hosted from the 10th to the 12th of January, 2019 at India’s premium E-Sports Arena – LXG, Bengaluru. India’s top teams from all over the country are expected to converge on the location and battle it out for a spot in the Grand Finale.

Other than the team members that are already qualified for the regional battles, the event also brings the opportunity to those charged up challengers who missed out on all the fun with its Open Qualifier Tournaments for Super Smash Bros, Ultimate and Tekken7 and prize money of INR 50,000 per category; which will be conducted on 11th January and 12th January respectively. Also, not leaving behind all the mobile gaming enthusiasts; we are conducting a WCC Rivals Open Qualifier Tournament on the final day of the Bangalore Regionals – 12th January, 2019. The event is open to all interested either in participating or being a lovely encouraging audience that you are.

If you or your team have qualified for the regionals, you’ll be happy to hear that LXG, Bengaluru is easily accessible to teams coming from out of the city. The arena is located in Indiranagar, Bengaluru, which has a lot of connectivity with ample public transport. LXG is a 5-minute drive from the Indiranagar metro station on CMH Road, which connects directly to inter-city bus and train routes. Local buses run fairly nearby to the cafe, with bus numbers KBS-11, 333-E and V335-E arriving close to the venue. 

Participants from out of the city will also find hotels close to LXG, as the area has a lot of affordable boarding options. Hotel-finding applications are your friend here, and many hotels in Indiranagar and the surrounding areas are both highly rated and affordable. For those flying in, there are AC buses that travel regularly between the airport and close to the venue. Although it is a 2 and a half hour journey, buses are more affordable than cabs or other options. Buses KIAS 4, KIAS 4A, KIAS 6, and KIAS 7A all have drops that are within 5-minute walking distance of LXG. 

If you’re living in the city, nothing should stop you from coming to LXG and witnessing some of the most intense esports battles in the country. Support your favourite teams and be a part of the regional qualifiers of ILG Season 3 to show your love for gaming and esports in India. The atmosphere of LAN gaming and the high-risk, high-reward nature of the tournament is a unique experience.
